Engagement Session at Harlinsdale Farm

I cannot believe that this session wasn’t already on the blog because it was SO much fun and still a favorite of mine. Ayrean and Christian are seriously some of the sweetest souls! There was so much laughter that my face legit hurt after we were done. Which is funny because the both said they were super awkward. They were worried about how their engagement session would turn out. Ayrean and Christian CRUSHED it! Every couple that thinks they’re awkward ends up creating the BEST images. Seriously just because you haven’t taken images together before doesn’t mean that they’ll look funky. Trust your partner and your photographer.

Outfit Planning

This session is a great example! When planning your engagement session outfits, it’s always a great idea to preplan at least two. One causal and one a little more formal to give you two different looks. This also gives a great range for posing and movement. Some shots are just more comfortable in jeans while other feel more elegant in a dress. If you just want one look, keep that in mind.

When you’re thinking of what to wear, it’s a great idea to wear your wedding colors during your engagement session! This way when you print invites and images there is a great flow. That’s personal preference though, don’t feel like you have to! Your session is all about you and your style.

Harlinsdale Farm is a gorgeous open property in Franklin, TN the property hosts events and classes but its useable throughout the year.
