Lindsey + Joseph’s | Smoky Mountain Halloween Elopement | Gatlinburg, TN

Throughout my time in the Gatlinburg area, as a Smoky Mountain elopement photographer, I’ve experienced some pretty incredible events. Lindsey and Joseph’s Smoky Mountain halloween elopement was nothing short of incredible. It was romantic and that of a story book fairytale. The couple knew they wanted a Smoky Mountain elopement. Halloween being a special day for them was also a huge reason for their date.

Memorable Family Touches Throughout Smoky Mountain Halloween Elopement

Lindsey’s family used to own a Halloween themed park growing up, so this holiday is incredibly special to her and her family. She’s always loved everything about the holiday and celebrating it with those she loves. Secondly, the couple opted for Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains because Lindsey’s mother would come here once a year. It was her mother’s favorite place. Since her passing she wanted to have her mother there in spirit, so eloping in the Smokies made the most sense!

The couple wanted to honor their loved ones in the most special and intimate way on their wedding day. They chose to get married where they did to celebrate passed family. Later they even had special memorial pieces set up in their honor. It was a special way to remember those that are no longer with us, and could celebrate with them in spirit.

Foothills Parkway Bridals

Throughout their Smoky Mountain halloween elopement, Lindsey mentioned how strongly she could feel her mother in spirit. It was a really special moment I was able to be apart of. We captured their sweet and intimate ceremony at their cabin in the Smokies. Later moving to the Foothills Parkway to capture the views. One of the whole reasons they came all the way from Florida!
