Amanda and Spencer’s Smoky Mountain elopement photos at the National Park didn’t exactly go as planned but was incredibly gorgeous nonetheless. We originally planned to go on an adventurous hike down to this incredible airplane crash site. It was going to be so epic and can be found a little ways off the Waterrock Knob Trail, but we started hiking a little too late. The sun was setting quickly so we decided to just make it work and have fun capturing incredible sights with these two love birds.
The Breathtaking Views
The sights that can be found in Smoky Mountain National Park are nothing short of breathtaking. Nevertheless even though our original plan didn’t pan out we still got incredible Smoky Mountain photos. We were able to hike to the top of the mountain and it worked out just fine! If you are interested in this hike, beware, it was one of the steepest hikes, I’ve ever been on! My poor legs were killing for days after, but it was so worth it! Maybe it worked out better if we didn’t keep going.
It was a short but aggressive climb up to the top for Amanda and Spencer’s elopement Smoky Mountain photography. But it was so worth it for the view. Even though we missed the crash site, we did see quite a few planes flying overhead throughout the gruelling hike. It was such a neat experience! Amanda and Spencer were so much fun to work with, and had such a romantic ceremony.
Sunset Smoky Mountain Elopement Ceremony
Amanda and Spencer cut right to the chase and had the perfect sunset ceremony for their Smoky Mountain National Park elopement. Throughout the ceremony, they quoted beautiful vows and had sweet details that made it that much more special. The couple had wooden flowers (solo wood flowers) “just married” signs tied to their packs and vow books. It was an absolute adventure of a wedding goal! They were surrounded by endless trees and on lookers but they only had eyes for each other. It was short, sweet, and so romantic, absolutely perfect!
