Throughout my time in the Gatlinburg area, as a Smoky Mountain photography professional, I’ve experienced some pretty incredible events. Lindsey and Joseph’s Smoky Mountain photo shoot with a Halloween elopement theme was nothing short of incredible. It was a truly romantic storybook fairytale. The couple knew they wanted a Smoky Mountain elopement. Halloween being a special day for them was also a huge reason for their date.
Memorable Family Touches Throughout Smoky Mountain Elopement
Lindsey’s family used to own a Halloween theme park growing up, so this holiday is incredibly special to her and her family. She’s always loved everything about the holiday and celebrating it with those she loves. Secondly, the couple opted for Tennessee and chose someone who specialized in Smoky Mountains photography because Lindsey’s mother would come here once a year. It was her mother’s favorite place. Since her mother’s passing, she wanted to have her there in spirit. So, eloping in the Smokies made the most sense!
The couple wanted to honor their loved ones in the most special and intimate way on their wedding day. They chose to get married they did to celebrate passed family with memorable Smoky Mountain photos. Later they even had special memorial pieces set up in their honor. It was a special way to remember those that are no longer with us, and could celebrate with them in spirit.
Foothills Parkway Bridals
As I took their Smoky Mountain photos, Lindsey mentioned how strongly she could feel her mother in spirit. It was a really special moment that I was able to be a part of.
In their Smoky Mountain photos, we captured their sweet and intimate ceremony at their cabin in the Smokies, later moving to the Foothills Parkway to capture the views
One of the whole reasons they came all the way from Florida!
