Some love stories are written in the stars, and this couple’s journey is a perfect example of how true love can endure and grow stronger with time. High school sweethearts who married young, at just 17 and 18, these two have faced challenges and joys together, proving that lasting love is always worth celebrating. Although they tied the knot in a simple courthouse ceremony, their bond has been anything but ordinary.
A Special Celebration for 11 Years of Love
Since they couldn’t celebrate their 10-year anniversary together, we made their 11th anniversary session at Red Rock Canyon something extra special. It was more than just an anniversary shoot—it was a chance to capture the wedding photos they never had. Despite marrying young, they’ve never regretted their courthouse wedding, but this time, we gave them the opportunity to have the beautiful, romantic photos they missed out on back then.

A Love That Overcomes All
Over the past 11 years, they’ve built a strong and beautiful family, overcoming every challenge that life threw their way. Their love is a testament to what it means to support one another, continually grow as a team, and make their dreams come true. I’ve never met a couple who uplifts each other more. Their love story reminds us that marriage isn’t about the grandeur of a wedding, but the strength and commitment shared in every day that follows.
Red Rock Canyon: The Perfect Backdrop
To celebrate their milestone, we chose Red Rock Canyon for their anniversary session. The dramatic landscapes and rich, earthy tones of the canyon perfectly mirrored their resilient love story. Every photo captured the depth of their connection and the beauty of the life they’ve built together. As they posed against the backdrop of stunning red rocks, it was easy to see how far they’ve come and how much farther they’ll go.

Looking Back with No Regrets
Though their wedding was simple and sweet, they look back with no regrets. In fact, the courthouse wedding at 17 and 18 symbolized something more—commitment beyond the ceremony. They followed each other to the ends of the earth, building a life, a family, and a future together. And now, 11 years later, their love is as strong as ever.
Here’s to 11 years of love, partnership, and growth—and many more to come.
