One thing the Smoky Mountains are known for is a good destination wedding. About 60% of my weddings are from couples that fly in for the gorgeous views. Madison and Eniola weren’t an exception! Their closest friends and family came from all over (including Africa!) for their two day wedding weekend. The day beforehand they had a traditional Nigerian ceremony, I was so sad to miss it but I was already booked that day. I was with them to captured their America ceremony to following day and as you can see it was just as gorgeous!
Wedding Day
Their wedding day was so eventful! We almost had to stop the ceremony about five different times because Eniola was about to pass out! He was so nervous, hot and he was trying to hold back tears and emotions. It wasn’t making for a good combo. We didn’t end up stopping the ceremony and most people didn’t even know there was a issue! He eventually calmed down after the ceremony and everything else went smoothly. Thank goodness!
It’s so important to have your support team with you when you’re having a destination wedding. And they had just that, such a great team of people with them! You can see in one of the images that Enolia’s best man’s main job was to pat Eniola dry whenever he started getting “shiny”. While Madison’s sister was on “perfection of the train” duties the whole night. Their bridal party all had tasks to help them throughout the day, to help keep things running smoothly and stress free. Everyone was with them and cheering them one for throughout the whole weekend! The people who surrounded them we’re there to give them the best experience and you can see from these images.
